OTC tags need to be capped for Non residents and we need to have 80/20 draw for residents in all units and 90/10 in units above 6 points.

I’ve got 28 preference points and it’s not right for someone to draw the hybrid with what 4 or 5???

Change ratio of Elk draw hunts to 75% to residents and 25% non-residents.
We all know non-residents fund most of the CPW programs and if ratio gets worse or pricing geta higher, the State will lose plenty of Texas/Oklahoma hunters!

Can you give hunting preferences to seniors? You relax rules for new youth hunters, while seniors have limited years to hunt. Drawing a deer/elk tag every 4 years (my 20yr ave.with 1 harvest/8 yrs.) limits our hunting & discourages applying for tag.

I strongly recommend that the Govenor's tag for moose be withheld from Ducks Unlimited until they change their process from an auction to a raffle. Under the current process only the wealthiest hunters have a chance to obtain the special moose tag.

Eliminate the unlimited over-the-counter tags for nonresident hunters. Find another source for funding so you don't have to rely on selling out to nonresidents. Make nonresident hunter apply through the draw system only.

Move the muzzle-loader season out of the archery season. Replace the first rifle season with the muzzle-loader season. Would be safer and no archers would get killed. Better for the management of the elk herds as well.

CPW is STEALING from hunters. And I can prove it. Why am I unable to find any place on EngageCPW to send my full criminal complaint against CPW?

All leftover tags should require usage of preference points equal to the lowest number utilized in the first draw. If you don't have enough, you should not be eligible for that tag. All applicants drawn for a tag should forfeit points for turn ins

Get rid of the OTC tags! If someone can't research and plan for their hunt, then they shouldn't get that privledge.

Include preference to youth, disabled/veteran hunters.
Submit report on wolf introduction conflict cost and involve hunters to reduce overall costs. Develop a rapid recovery plan to speed up the state management process to reduce fed involvement.

Continue to uphold the tenants of the North American model for wildlife conservation. Manage all animals accordingly including wolves. Do not put them on a pedestal. In addition improve resident tag allocation and adopt an 85/15 split for all unit.

More about equity for resident hunters and big game tag allocation. No state treats resident hunters worse than colorado. OTC overcrowding. Resident archery elk otc hunters are down 20% since 2014 and resident rifle elk otc is down 12 % since 2014

Increase wildlife awareness, in this case the ecological benefits of reintroduction of wolves as well as the historical aspects of how humans have treated(or mistreated) this species by in person presentations in primary schools.

I did not see any compensation allowed for hunting hounds, only livestock and herding, and guard dogs, is this correct? We are concerned about our hunting hounds, which require much time and financial commitment to own and train
