Thank you for your interest in the draft gray wolf restoration and management plan. On December 9, 2023, Colorado Parks and Wildlife released its draft gray wolf restoration and management plan. Opportunities for public engagement, including online and in-person public comment, were hosted December 9 - February 22, 2023. See below for more information about the public engagement timeline, including Parks and Wildlife Commission meetings and agendas. Comments submitted in this time were directly shared with the Parks and Wildlife Commission to inform their decision-making process on the draft plan. Brief memos outlining the volume and nature of written comments received were provided to the Commission, along with the comments themselves.

The Keystone Policy Center is preparing a brief report for the Parks and Wildlife Commission on high-level themes and trends of the comments to be submitted in advance of the April 2023 commission meeting.

While the draft wolf plan comment form is closed, if you would like to leave a comment on wolves in Colorado, please use the general comment form. Comments received following 2/22/2023 are not considered in the development of the final qualitative report on feedback on the draft wolf restoration and management plan. However, comments submitted through this form beginning 2/23/2023 will continue to be provided directly to the Parks and Wildlife Commission.
