CPW is seeking input on proposed changes to some big game hunting regulations in Northwest Colorado. These changes are being proposed for implementation in the 2027 big game hunting seasons.
Input collected will help staff determine if the changes will continue to be considered and presented to the Parks and Wildlife Commission (PWC). Proposed regulations will be considered as an informational item by the PWC at their November 4-5, 2026 meeting. Final regulation changes will be considered for adoption at the January 6-7, 2027 PWC meeting. Adopted regulations will be implemented in the 2027 big game hunting seasons. To share comments with the PWC, members of the public should follow the guidance in the Submit Public Comments section of the PWC's webpage.
